MySiteBuddy LLC (“My Site Buddy,” “we,” “us”) operates the website at mysitebuddy.ai and the My Site Buddy web application. Our address is 750 4th Ave S, Unit 304, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, USA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers both this website and the My Site Buddy application, including data we receive from Google and other services you connect.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, company, password, billing details, and anything you send through our contact form, support requests, or the application itself.

Account and usage information. Log-in times, actions you take in the application, IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed. We use this to run, secure, and improve the service.

Information from connected services. When you choose to connect an outside account, such as Google, Semrush, Ahrefs, or your website’s hosting or code repository, we receive the data that account makes available under the permissions you approve. Section 2 describes Google data in detail.

Cookies. We use essential cookies for log-in, security, and preferences. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and offer any choices the law requires.

2. Google user data

My Site Buddy lets you connect your Google accounts so you can see and act on your website, search, analytics, business listing, and advertising data in one place. We only access Google data after you sign in with Google and approve the specific permissions on Google’s consent screen. Each Google service is connected separately, and we request only the permissions that service needs.

How we use Google user data. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you see and use in My Site Buddy. We do not use it for any other purpose. Specifically, we do not:

  • sell Google user data
  • use or transfer Google user data to serve ads, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based ads
  • use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes
  • use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models
  • allow humans to read Google user data, except with your express permission (for example, when you ask support to look at a problem), when needed for security (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or when the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations

Limited Use. My Site Buddy’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes on your behalf. My Site Buddy only changes your Google accounts, such as editing a listing, replying to a review, or changing an ad campaign, when you or a team member you authorized asks it to. Changes go through My Site Buddy’s review and approval step before they are applied.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain My Site Buddy
  • carry out the website, search, listing, and advertising tasks you request
  • create reports and recommendations for your projects
  • respond to questions and provide support
  • secure the service and prevent fraud and abuse
  • send service and account messages, such as security alerts and billing notices
  • comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

4. How we share information

We share information only as described here:

  • Service providers that host, store, secure, or support My Site Buddy, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.
  • AI providers that process data to perform tasks you request (see section 5).
  • Your team and clients. Data in a workspace is visible to the people you or your organization give access to.
  • Legal reasons. When required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect people, our service, or our rights.
  • Business transfers. As part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you and subject to this policy.

We share Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features, for security, to comply with law, or as part of a business transfer, and always in line with the Limited Use requirements above.

5. AI processing

My Site Buddy uses AI models to carry out tasks you request, such as writing content, reviewing a website, or summarizing performance data. To do this, relevant data from your project, which may include data from connected Google services, is sent to the AI provider that runs the task. Providers we may use include Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Moonshot AI (Kimi), and Perplexity.

  • Data is sent only to complete the task you asked for.
  • We use these providers under terms that do not allow them to train their models on data sent through their business APIs.
  • We do not use Google user data to train or improve any AI model.
  • If you add your own AI provider API key, your data is processed under your agreement with that provider.

6. Storage and security

We store data with secure cloud hosting providers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. Google access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored separately from other account data. Access to production systems is limited to staff who need it, and access is logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy.

  • When you disconnect a Google service, we revoke our access token right away and delete the Google user data we stored from that service within 30 days.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and connected-service data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records, such as billing records, for legal reasons.
  • Backups are deleted on a rolling basis within 90 days.

8. Revoking access and your choices

You can disconnect any Google service at any time from your My Site Buddy integration settings. You can also remove My Site Buddy’s access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Children

My Site Buddy is a business service and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

My Site Buddy is operated from the United States. If you use it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as My Site Buddy changes. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If we make material changes to how we use Google user data, we will notify you and ask for your consent where required before the change takes effect.
