John Wieber

Founder & Managing Partner, Web Moves

St. Petersburg, Florida

With over 20 years of experience in web development, e-commerce, and digital marketing, John has managed hundreds of websites and led strategies for businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and major trade publications.

John brings a unique blend of technical expertise and marketing insight to every engagement — he's as comfortable reviewing server logs as he is analyzing conversion funnels. He pioneered many of the data-driven marketing methods that Web Moves uses today.

He knows what good work looks like: what a real audit finds, which ranking problems actually matter, what content moves a business. What he never had was the ability to do that work at scale — to write, audit, build, and fix across dozens of sites without either hiring a large staff or cutting corners.

Bob Tantlinger

Developer, Web Moves

Bob is a full-stack developer with over two decades of professional programming experience in backend systems, databases, and modern frontend frameworks. He builds and maintains the applications, integrations, and infrastructure behind client projects.

His expertise includes PHP, Laravel, React, Node.js, and increasingly AI-powered development tools — always focused on building fast, maintainable systems that deliver measurable performance.

Over the past year he has gone deep into AI — researching, testing, breaking, and re-testing what these models can reliably do and where they fail. My Site Buddy is what came out of it.

I did not build My Site Buddy to sell it. I built it because Web Moves was stretched too thin. For four or five years, we struggled to get work done efficiently. I hit a breaking point. Bob had been investing in better ways of working for the last year. Four months ago, I declared war on the scattered, ineffective data and tasks across my desktop, email, folders, notes, and to-do lists. We built My Site Buddy for Web Moves. But after showing it to a few agency friends, they all said: we could sell the shit out of this.

My Site Buddy helps you turn more good ideas into real website and marketing improvements. For years, the problem was not a lack of ideas. It was not a lack of tools. The problem was that everything was spread out.

Every client had different needs. We needed new creative, new website features, better forms, and sometimes a new connection between systems so information could flow properly. Then there were all the tools: WordPress, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, reports, documents, spreadsheets, and more.

Every one of those tools can be useful. But they all had different information, different reports, and different places to look. One report might say there is a problem. Another might say something different. Not every piece of data is useful. And even when it is useful, someone still has to decide what matters and what should happen next.

That is where the work used to slow down. A good idea could get buried in an email, a report, a saved tab, or a programmer's backlog. Even a small website change could sit there for weeks. Audits could give us a huge list of things to fix, but there was never enough time to do it all. So a lot of useful work stayed undone.

That is why I built My Site Buddy. It does not replace the tools you already use. And it does not replace you. It brings the request, the website, the ads, the data, the reports, the ideas, the changes, and the review together. You can explain what you need in normal words. Then you can see the work, review a preview, ask for changes, and approve it before it goes live.

My Site Buddy gives you more ability to act on what you already know. Depending on your experience, your ideas, and how willing you are to move on them, it can help you handle five to twenty times more useful work. Less chasing. Less waiting. Less good work getting lost. More of the right work getting done.

What it does

It helps experienced people do more of the work they already know how to do.

My Site Buddy brings useful information from tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, DataForSEO, Search Console, Analytics, and Pangram into the same project. That makes it easier to research, write, check a page, and prepare a website change.

It does not make the final call. It gives people better information and a clearer way to act on it.

It is not just for one person. A team can share requests, notes, drafts, and reviews in the same project. Important website changes are saved in Git and checked by an experienced person before they go live.

The result is a small team that can finish more website changes while keeping important decisions visible.

How it works

Five practical ways it helps.

01 Bring your tools together

See information from the tools you already use without copying it between tabs or spreadsheets.

02 Prepare website work faster

Draft content, check a page, prepare a fix, or build a website change in the same project.

03 Work together in one project

Share requests, notes, drafts, and reviews so everyone works from the same information.

04 Review before it goes live

Important changes are saved in Git and checked by an experienced person before they are published.

05 Keep projects separate

Each project has its own workspace and review steps, so one client’s work stays separate from another’s.

Where it's going

It starts with websites.

Today My Site Buddy helps with websites, SEO, content, development, design, analytics, and paid ads. As we add tools, the goal stays the same: turn a useful idea into a website change you can review.

  • Websites
  • SEO
  • Content
  • Development
  • Design
  • Conversion optimization
  • Analytics
  • Crawl health

A note from the founders

We built My Site Buddy because we needed it. We had the experience and the client work, but too much of the day was spent moving between software and translating good ideas into tasks.

We wanted better answers, not more reports. We wanted an idea to become work while it was still fresh. My Site Buddy gives us a place to prepare the work, look at it, and decide what should happen next.

That is what My Site Buddy is for: more useful website work, with the person responsible still in charge.
